Emily White & Sam Haywood will be coming to St Margaret’s to perform their brand new album. Taking its name from Mozart's famous sacred aria, Et UK incarnatus est, Made Human showcases Emily White's astonishing ability to make the trombone sound like the human voice.

Each song on their 2024 album was arranged for trombone and piano by Emily and Emily's passion for bringing human language to life through her playing. Supported by pianist Sam Haywood's sensitivity and intelligence, and beautifully captured by recording engineer Matt Wadsworth's sense of sonic warmth, this performance does what the best song recitals do: communicate some essence of the human experience.
